No artillery unit (except for the scorched earth tactic which costs 7 points anyways to get to) No sniper unit (Though I have heard that the AT-Halftrack acts like one with precision firing - but dont get me started with that.
They get vehicles the fastest, but it seems the scout car and infantry half-tracks (easiest to get) are vulnerable to everything and die rather quickly unless micro-managed really well. Everyone else can build some form of defensive ability immediately. But they are separate (as in sand bags and wiring in one branch, tank traps are in another) and cost 1 point. They have no way for defensive positioning (sand bags, wiring, tank traps, defensive emplacements, and if you do want any of these you have to go a particular branch in the special powers selection screen. It seems to me that they have "the short end of the stick" in Company of heroes. I need help! I suck at the Panzer Elite and can't seem to ever win with them. I wont fully agree with him because of some of the powerful abilities and units they get, but it does seem a bit off. I voted for him and voted "No they are under-powered" because he feels that they get the "short end of the stick." My brother wanted me to put it up to see what others thought of the PE on a balance level. I posted a poll and I am hoping that even if you do not reply or post to this message you at least vote.
